Fuel system
Fuel condition, tank, lines, filter, carburetor and visible signs of contamination, deterioration or restriction.
Maintenance and fuel-system service for racing karts—focused on what the kart actually needs before small issues become a lost track day.

A racing kart does not need random parts replacement. It needs the right inspection and maintenance priorities based on its engine, storage, recent use and what the owner plans to do next.
Second Lap checks the systems that affect reliability, control and track readiness, then explains what deserves attention now and what can be monitored.

The exact work depends on the kart, engine and current condition. The inspection establishes priorities before additional work is approved.
Fuel condition, tank, lines, filter, carburetor and visible signs of contamination, deterioration or restriction.
External condition, starting/running behavior when appropriate, leaks, mounting and maintenance items that can be checked without unnecessary disassembly.
Radiator, hoses, clamps, coolant condition and visible circulation or leakage concerns on liquid-cooled systems.
Pedal feel, fluid condition, lines, caliper movement, pads and visible leakage or wear.
Chain condition and tension, sprocket wear, alignment and other visible drive-system concerns.
Steering movement, tie rods, pedals, cables, fasteners and control operation.
Visible wheel/bearing play, wheel condition, tire condition and wear patterns that deserve attention.
Visible frame condition, mounts, guards, seat hardware and fasteners that should be checked before track use.
Second Lap starts with condition and history, not a generic parts list.
Send photos, engine information, recent use, last maintenance and any symptoms or concerns.
We check the relevant systems and establish the maintenance priorities. Initial inspections start at $70.
Additional maintenance, parts or repairs are discussed before the work proceeds so the owner stays in control of the scope.
The point of maintenance is not to replace everything. It is to identify deterioration, wear and neglected systems early enough to make a sensible plan.
Second Lap serves Orlando, Winter Garden, Windermere, Clermont and Bushnell. Service is scheduled Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
Include photos, engine model, fuel type when known, last use, last maintenance, current symptoms and what you want to accomplish with the kart.
There is no single interval for every kart. Engine type, hours, storage time, track use and component condition all matter. Second Lap bases maintenance priorities on the kart and how it is being used.
Yes. Fuel-system condition is a core part of the service, including tank, lines, filters and carburetion where applicable. The work required depends on the actual condition found.
Yes. Second Lap works with two-stroke and four-stroke racing karts. Maintenance scope is adapted to the kart, engine and owner’s intended use.
No. Reactivation is aimed at karts that have been stored, neglected or are not running. Maintenance is for a kart that is active or close to active and needs condition-based service, prevention or track preparation.
Initial inspections start at $70. Parts, travel and additional diagnostic or repair work are quoted separately before approved work begins.
Send photos, kart and engine information, when it last ran, recent maintenance, current symptoms and what you want to do with the kart next.
