Yes. Stored and non-running racing karts are the core of this service. The first step is a condition-based inspection before deciding what work is actually needed.
Do you try to start the engine immediately?
Not blindly. We first review the kart’s condition, fuel system, controls, brakes and visible risks so the first startup is based on what the kart actually needs.
How much does the initial inspection cost?
Initial inspections start at $70. Transportation, parts and additional diagnostic or repair work are quoted separately before approved work begins.
Do you work with two-stroke and four-stroke racing karts?
Yes. Second Lap works with two-stroke and four-stroke racing karts, with the reactivation plan based on the kart’s actual configuration and condition.
What should I send before the appointment?
Send photos of the kart, engine information, how long it has been stored, what happened the last time it ran and what you want to accomplish with it.
Can you help after the kart is running again?
Yes. Maintenance, owner guidance and scheduled track support can follow the reactivation when they fit the owner’s next step.
